Tire Fitter (m/f)

Job Opportunity:

Transour, Unipessoal, Lda. — a company operating in the transport sector, as well as in the maintenance and repair of machinery and motor vehicles — is looking to strengthen its team by recruiting a Tyre Fitter (m/f).

Candidate Profile:

Secondary school education;

 Professional experience in tyre fitting or similar roles (preferred); 

 Knowledge of wheel alignment, balancing and tyre maintenance; 

 Ability to identify tyre wear and assess the need for intervention; 

 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; 

 Strong organisational, planning and time-management skills; 

 Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and commitment to safety; 

 Good interpersonal and teamwork skills; 

 Dynamic, proactive and willing to learn; 

 Driving licence (mandatory).

Main Responsibilities:

Perform wheel balancing, technical inspections and minor tyre repairs, where applicable; 

 Carry out wheel alignment and other complementary tyre-related operations; 

 Assess tyre wear and identify the need for replacement or intervention; 

 Correctly operate and maintain equipment, machinery and tools; 

 Ensure the organisation, cleanliness and safety of the workplace; 

 Ensure the proper storage and operational management of tyre stock; 

 Assist with basic stock control and recording of completed operations; 

 Strictly comply with the company's safety, quality and ergonomic standards; 

 Contribute to the quality, efficiency and safety of the service provided to customers.
